GH-GP500S Portable Plant
METSO GP500S CONE CRUSHER
The crusher design is of hydraulically supported shaft type with a top bearing housed in the spider casting. The crusher frame is manufactured from high quality steel, a high impact material with enhanced fatigue resistance. The main shaft is made from a high grade steel forging and the head from a heat treated steel casting. Crusher is driven by a spiral bevel gear and pinion for optimum life and low noise level.
The countershaft is carried by roller bearings in a sealed cartridge type oil reservoir to prevent contamination, and to ensure maximum bearing life. Eccentric and main frame bearings are manufactured from high quality bronze to give maximum resistance to abrasion, fatigue and wear.
Wear parts are fitted on to the head and main frame without backing material. An independent lubrication/adjustment unit for crusher bearings and for the crusher setting adjustment are in one case. Different strokes are available by rotating the internal eccentric bearing bushing.
The crusher is equipped with IC50 automatic control system to optimize production and to improve operational safety.

- Lubrication system has several functions in crusher operation, automatically lubricate the components participating in generation of eccentric movement, adjust the crusher setting based on automation and user command and to remove the heat generated by the crushing work.
- Pressure Air Dust Sealing System makes sealing more effective by over-pressurizing the crusher from inside. The system includes compressor unit, air filter and hoses.
