Metso/Nordberg HP4 Cone Crusher

Basic Module

• Cast frame with thrust bearing, main shaft and seat liners

Additional HP cone features include a package lubrication system consisting of an internal independent pump, oil pressure switch, temperature switch, oil tank with strainer, oil level gauge, thermometers at three locations, (2) oil heater with control panel, oil filter and oil cooler (air-radiator type).  Guard for V-belt crusher drive and crusher tools.

GreyHawk Isolation Frame

The HP4 is mounted on a heavy duty isolation frame which is supported on (6) rubber shear mounts to minimize the transfer of vibration into the chassis.  The pivoting motor mount is an integral component of the isolation frame.

21” 83# Mainbeam with Triple-Axle Hutch Suspension equipped for semi trailer towing with 11:00 R 22.5 tires on Budd type wheels, air controlled brakes, fifth wheel kingpin, horizontal screen support frame with diamond plate catwalks, conveyor supports, travel lights, reflectors, mud flaps, and V-Belt drive guards.

Safety Guards:

We install all standard guarding, customer will be responsible for compliance with local codes.

General:

• Chassis to be sandblasted, one coat two part epoxy primer and two part urethane finish painted one coat GreyHawk beige with orange and grey highlight stripe on the trailer frame beams.
• (2) sets of owners/parts manuals.

48" Under Crusher Conveyor (C-2)

C-channel frame equipped with Superior 5" CEMA 'C' channel mount idlers, Superior 12” x 44” vulcanized head pulley, XT30 Hubs, 2-7/16” / 2-7/16” Pillow block bearings, Powertorque 415 shaft mount reducer, WorldWide 15 HP, 1800 RPM, TEFC drive motor sheaves, V-Belts and motor V-Belt guard, Superior 12” x 44” wing tail pulley, XT 30 Hubs, 2-7/16” shaft with Dodge SCM wide slot takeup, Superior 5” CEMA ‘C’ Moxie return idlers, return roll guards, return belt plow, Superior live shaft belt alignment rubber disc rollers, skirt plates with skirtboard rubber, V-Plow 3 ply 3/16” x 1/16” conveyor belting, and Argonics Eraser system.

Feed Basket

The Crusher Feed Basket is a weldment which sites over the feed opening, it directs material into the crusher feed opening and reduces spillage.  The feed basket is made of ¼” mild steel with a 3/8” base plate.  Windows with steel mesh inserts allow the operator to view the material level in the feed basket.  The feed basket is typically removed for highway towing.

Overflow material is directed to the discharge conveyor.

Included Options:

Adjustable king pin support - Adjustable tubular supports reduce the amount of blocking required in the kingpin area during plant operation, which simplifies set up and tear down. The kingpin supports are lifted and pinned for towing to clear the semi-tractor.

Power hydraulic raise and lower - Six tube in tube style heavy duty run-on jacklegs, with 6" diameter x 18" stroke cylinders to lift the plant into the operating position. Each cylinder is independently controlled from a hydraulic valve for precise control and ease of leveling. The hydraulic system is powered by an 11 HP Honda gasoline engine with electric start and backup recoil start.

Electric Starters, Wiring and Controls - 6' x 6' x 20" electrical enclosure with structural support to set on grade during plant operation. The enclosure is connected to the plant with 15' electrical cable. The enclosure has a main inlet line surge arrestor, warning horn, lifting eyes and main circuit breaker with door interlocked disconnect linkage. All on-plant equipment is controlled by NEMA rated starters. Crusher motor is controlled by a digital solid state reduce voltage starter (soft-start).
